car is having trouble starting...
recently, my battery died and i got a new one. It was starting fine for a day or two, but after a couple days, when i went to start my car, nothing would happen. I would try it over and over like 5 times, and usually on about the 5th try it would start. Sometimes it would start right up, and sometimes it would kinda struggle. Any ideas whats wrong? thanks!

Hmm.. If that was me.. I'd give the wires at the Battery, Alternator, and Starter Solenoid a little tug. And while I'm at that, I'd also check for dirty or loose connections..
But since you're saying that you might need a new Battery, I'd then test the Alternator with my screwdriver. I'd check to see if it's even creating its magnetic field.. And then with that out of the way, I'd go on and fix whatever needs to be fixed...
But what I think you should really do is have your Alternator tested.. Or you could do a search in the Tech Forum. There's a ton of questions and replies about the dreaded no start problem..
But other than that, good luck..

Your battery could be draining? With the car turned off, check the voltage with a voltmeter. Your battery cable isn't corroded is it? Wire corrosion will cause your car not to start up. Definitely get the alternator checked out by any auto shop...usually it's free
hmm...well, this problem seemed to fix itself. hasnt happen again in a couple days, hopefully itll stay this way. thanks for everyones suggestions
