Default civic radiator into integra?

could i put that half sized civic rad into my 94 LS? would it bolt in? wold the reduced size hurt my cooling efficiency? the reason i ask this is because this free up a ton of space to put my IC in and i know exactly how i want to mount and pipe in and having a radiator half the size would allow me to do this perfectly

i would have it flipped backwards from what you see in the pic so that small pipe sticking straight out would be towards the block and the pipe that angles would be down and toward the R fender

it's not a direct fit. you have to custom mount it. i remember there's a single radiator from another car thas almost a perfect fit, jus cant remember wat car it was, haha

You shouldn't have any overheating problem. 90% of civic owners who put b-series engine keep their half sized radiator.

No overheating with a half-size radiator on a boosted LS? Raise the heat, lower the cooling and still no problems eh? I'd be wary.

well when i was boosting, i would over heat, but also te fmic was blocking the radiator. but as long as ur not blocking that one radiator you should be alright.. ask people with sohc turbos what they think

the way i would have it setup would be to have the IC to the right of the radiator so that the IC doesnt block the rad and the rad doesnt block the IC, both can get enough airflow, i really cant see any other way to mount the IC without freeing up some radiator space. Mounting it right behind the bumper for me would mean way too much charge piping and it would block some airflow to the radiator

im thinking maybe if i mount some slim line fans one on each side of the radiator that would help airflow a lot

Theres different depths to those half width radiators. Most people with the shallow ones say they are fine, but if you are worried just get a deep one. Or a fancy aftermarket one would work too.

Just get the del sol vtec radiator. Its dual core. Or go aftermarket.
