i have a 92 honda civic hatch with the optional audio console but im wondering if the KVT-911 will be able to fit in the upper din of the optional audio console...it will go in fine but im wondering if it will have clearance issues with the monitor when it comes out because of how the console is recessed and when the monitor comes out will it hit part of the dash?

 

you MAY have clearance issues w/ this monitor.. the good thing about the kenwood is it pops out outta the case and you have to fold it back to your viewing angle as to where the alpine opens and goes to a preset that you can adjust and then get the best viewing angle.. ive never seen one installed in a 92 civic w/ the audio console but i have seen it in the oem radio din slot. why not just flop some stuff around and put the monitor up higher for better viewing???
