Has anyone been able to fit either a JG or a Skunk 2 IM in their EF with a B16?

yes they fit
on a cruise in i saw a B20/VTEC swap with a JG edelbrock intake manifold and it had good clearance..
i know its not the asnwer u wanted, but if a B20 fits with no probs, i dont think a B16 will...

 

I'm using an HP Racing sheetmetal intake on my C1 in an 89 hatch with no issues.

 

Ok sounds good.. it's just that I recall reading, at some point, that the mani's hit the brake boosters.
