My friend just imported a JDM spec ITR which has an N1 style cat-back. It looks like its an Apexi N1 or an HKS Hiper. What colour is the Apexi piping? This looks likes its dark purple (strange) ! On the backbox there is nothing written.
What do u think guys??

The company name is usually somewhere on the canister or tip. If its not then good luck trying to identify it cause there are so many systems out there. As long as it sounds alrite and performs its

 

Apex'i did make a limited version...i cant remember what they were called...a few years ago that had a tinge of purple on the canister and piping. I dunno if they made any applications for DC2's though.

 

mine is purple and on the bottom of the muffler it says apexi

 

Apexi piping has a purple-grey color to it. It's the high temperature paint used to protect the piping from corrosion. I think the HKS piping has a very similar piping paint. Underneath my N1 muffler/canister it has an APEXi plate with a #..

 

N1 piping is a purplish grey color in my opinion and there is a small apexi badge on the bottom of the muffler.....
