the cop was probably intimidated by your b18 swap, and knew he wouldn't catch you if you ran from him...so that's why he let you go. ahhh, the joys of the holidays

Congratulations....since no one else will say it...but they really want too

Hey im still young....and im even against street racing anymore.....but to many people on this site....act like they are so high and mighty.....you know youve street raced once or twice before......

I had the same thing happen to me about 3 weeks ago....I pulled outta a resturaunt on my way to my apartment and downshifted to catch up to a mustang ust to kinda mess around...(for christs sake im still non-vtec...all motor...sohc) and he took me seriously..and juiced it cop in the other direction pulled around and got him instead of me......

Now I call my rex the Mustang killer.......lol

Playing with the car is one thing, racing a whole other. Not to say Im not guilty. But you know you really do deserve that ticket.

Outran one doing 128mph in my 1990 Honda Crx Si. It is amazing how quick you can make yourself disappear when they need to go from a standstill to 128mph!

You guys really have to read deeper here, I'm sure in California where you have 35,000,000 people street racing gets to be a hazard. This guy lives in Iowa. I'm sure the 6 other people who live in that state probably dont mind him using their back roads as his racetrack.

I woulda had a ticket too but as soon as I saw the blue and red lights, downshift, dip down the first side street and lost that ******. Parked, got out and went to eat at my moms house. Guess I shouldn't speed past the police station.

Oh yeah, my nick is "kin" this name is my brothers.. **** won't let me log out. What's the deal with that?

Thanks man, i'm not the one who usually races every person i see, including girls and cars that aren't worth my time, I've had 2 drag racing tickets over the past 5 years and the 2nd one i had to loose my EG, so when loosing my first and building my 2nd (EF). I've realized that racing just isn't as important as my job(driver) and my son's transportation, but with my new setup i just can't seem to help it sometimes!
I know street racing is stupid and i encourage you all not to do it!
I AM OFFICIALY DONE!

i let my gf drive my ef for the first time the other night.. she took it to the country roads in wich theres no cars whatsoever.. its was kewl bc it was nice long curves that u cna take safely @ 70 mph... and up and down hills... she even made my car caught a bout 8" of air... was tight... anyways i was surprised how well she drives and how fun u can be on country roads when no one its around and u can have some safe fun.. and yes it gives u a feeling u are in a racetrack....

its speed contest not wreckless driving , alot of you have to sit and think if it wasn't for the many thousands of street racers alot of these tuner companies would be out of bussiness, street racing built the racing scene, for every legal racer theres 3 illegal racers.
