I'm pulling my d16z6 so i can swap my DOHC ZC in it. When pulling the engine would it be easier to disconnect the half-shaft from the axles, and then pull the engine from there, or take out the axles completely.

 

you have to remove the axles, but you can just leave the half shaft in.

 

See i don't have any Jackstands under the car right now. So i will just disconnect from the half shaft and leave the half shaft in and pull it that way.

 

are you pulling just the motor (not the tranny)? if so, i guess you could just pull off the halfshaft.

if you are pulling the motor and tranny you will have to at least take out the passenger axle because if goes directly into the tranny.

since u taking engine +tranny take the whole axles out!
dont be lazy and do it the right way !

 

i don't h ave any Jackstands So i was thinking just disconnect them until i get some hack stands
