EK hatch...let me explain something....
I know you guys don't like the ricer look but hey, this is my best friends car. He had his NOS system hooked up for street races in SLC for a week or so. The Spoon ECU was just put on to help pick up the red line when he is Autocrossing it. He does auto-x it, but not in STS anymore. That pic was when he had the stock DX motor in it. And NO, he does not race with that bumper on. The owner of the car before my friend totalled the car both front and rear, so my friend took the car to his Auto-body shop, by the way, the kid is 18, and totally rebuilt it from scratch using the parts available around here. The 99 front bumper looks good, so who cares. He shaved everything and painted it himself, no help from anyone. Does anyone on this forums paint their cars' themselves?? NOPE!!! His car is different, but no one around here cares whether or not he's show or go, but from what I know, he is a little of both. So go ahead and flame on again if you want to, but all you are doing is making an 18 year old kid laugh at you cuz this is his hard work you are flaming!!!

I think you're mistaken about people on these forums painting their cars. There are plenty of people that paint their cars on H-T. They just don't do a radical color scheme like your 18 year old friend. I doubt anybody cares what your friend thinks about the flaming, you're the one that posted it and asked for opinions.
So there, we gave you opinions, so now go drive the car in a lake. Make sure he hits the NOS a few feet before the edge so it will get some nice distance before it hits the water. Thanks for posting...

Why should he drive his car off a cliff?? Just cuz he wants to be different. The kid has alot of money and could easily buy everything JUN to go along with the paint, thats his intentions to do before he graduates HS this June, or should I say JUN?

his car definitely looks like ****. if i were u i wouldnt b caught dead in that car. i think u should choose ur friends wisely and obviously in this case u didnt. if my best friend drove that hunk of rice, id disown him.

k, Delete it, but I could have sworn the moderators said flaming should stop. But there was over 100 flames on this car, and thats gay! If you are going to flame this car, flame the guy with the STOCK hatch, Fowler I think is his name. You guys should recognize not everyone is going to jump on the JDM bandwagon, which everyone on here is bitching about everyone jumping on it. So eat your words or I will buy my friend a JDM CTR motor

Alright so let me get things straight. You post a picture of an ugly *** car that almost made me seizure (car isn't even yours) and declare that your friend painted it himself. Two weeks ago, my car would have ripped that car a new ******* in every single way you can imagine. I've chosen to sell my car. If you've spent some time on this site, you'll realize that my car hasn't always been the way that it is. The point of my post was to make a joke.
I'm glad that you like that snow plow/civic. Truthfully, none of us here will ever accept it. It's ugly, it's slow... and whenever your friend gets a ctr motor, it'll still be a slow car...still getting it's *** handed back in whatever class you plan on racing.
Please leave this site...because we will continue to flame that car and you until you :
a. stop making stupid nutriding posts
b. start making intellligent points
I truthfully don't think that any of that will happen, so just do us a favor.

Spamming your sales, your show queens, and anything else you would feel would earn you 'cool' points is what he is against. You came into this forum with a picture. i think it looks nice. it's your friend's car and that's how he likes it then more power to him. what is under the hood? i'm 45 mins south of SLC, but I don't ever go there because of the high Police presence every weekend night. They'll ticket you on State Street for having a non-stock or modified exhaust system. Even if you have an OEM tip on an OEM exhaust it is illegal. A cop explained to me one time that they have that ordinance to cut down and street racing, so that they can scare modified imports out of SLC. for having the ***** to post that car, but don't be so defensive in the future. Look you asked for opinions, you opened the door for people to tell you what they like and what they don't like about the car. Unfortunately for your 18 year old friend not too many people liked what they saw.
Sorry for the suicide responses in the earlier posts but that car is ugly and your friend is either a liar or a cheater as far as STS auto-x goes. You even said in the other thread about this car that when he does auto-x his bumper falls off... now he takes it off?? Which is it?? Look man just quit now, you are not going to justify the need of that car to me or just about anyone else here on the board, to me that car serves as a perfect example of what NOT to do to a civic.
I am not flaming you or your 18 year old friend, the car is ugly now and if it stays in his possesion it will probally stay ugly. Only a trip back to stock could save that car in my opinion.
And for everyone who says "if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all" here you go

There is nothing wrong with mid-wings... they flow with the body well... my EG has one and it makes it 10 times more appealing to me... I just like how it looks. At least the guy doesn't have a 10 ft tall Aluminum Touring Wing... ugh.
