I have a 91 legend 4dr. A while ago I purchased a type 2 (230 hp instead of 200 but with less torque). The manual for my car makes no distinction mechanically between the two motors, though the type 2 usually comes with the 6spd manual trans. can anyone forsee any compatability problems with my swap? (I have type 2 ecu also).

i just bought a 94 legend GS sedan, but mine came with the 6-sp .

my suggestion is to try going to the legend forums, someone there in the 2nd gen section would definitely know.

I do belive they are the same block, if you use the correct flywheel I don't forsee any issues.
