Default Exhaust Time :)

hey, i got a couple questions before i actually order my exhaust. I want to get the racing medallion but some people say its really loud. Does anyone know of any good exhausts that are decently quiet and do not hang low? or do u think i should just go with the tababe one

I love the Tanabe racing medallion. However it is loud, if loud is something that you do not want then I suggest going with the apex world sport exhaust. It is a very stock looking exhaust and is pretty quiet.

Do your homework on the Worldsport. I've had that and a Dunk. The Dunk fit waaay better. I'm not saying you'll have a fitment problem for sure, but a few of us have. My problem was the tip was touching the bumper after it was installed.
But yes, no problems hanging too low, and a really nice sound w/ the Worldsport.

I had an Apexi Worldsport. Its a little louder than stock and you won't have any clearance issues.

Go to the imagestation link in my sig for a video clip.

I got the Greddy Power Extreme. It hangs low, well really not, just the canister is HUGE. Everyone says they want to get a greddy after they hear mine.

The moderator of this forum has the racing madalion, try to get in touch with him. I had the apex n1 on my car a while back and got ride of it because it hung too low, other then that i would have kept it. IMO, it wasn't too loud but that's my personal preferance. I honestly don't think there's much performance to be gained with the Apex WS. I was looking into the WS when i sold my N1 and i decided it was too restrictive.

If you're in it for "looks and sound" go for it.

APEX'i World Sport =

I had that exhaust on my 4door civic and for those 2 weeks i had it on before i wrecked my car I LOVED it! It's surprising how much hp and tq that exhaust gives. I had another custom piped exhaust on my car before, and upgrading to the WS I even felt a big improvement. So going from stock exhaust to that....you should like it A LOT. Also, the World Sport isn't very loud, but gets kinda throaty when you step on the gas. Overall, buy the World Sport

I give the racing madalion a on performance. To me it looks a little awkward on the hatch but still a nice exhaust. I think they make a full stainless version of the RM.
