Default Weird scraping noise from the engine bay...

The first time I hear it was during a traffic jam yesterday. It sounds like something is dragging along the road as if my b-pipe falled down and hitting the road. I stopped and look under, everything is fine! I overlooked it and drove on.

Today, it happened again, it seems more clear to me that it came from the engine bay, somewhere beneath or around the firewall area...I poped my head in and hear some loud buy not similar noise from the timing belt area. (The car is also Toda Gen II Cam Gears equipped)

Recent mod to the car is change of b-pipe: Stock B-pipe replacing a welded b-pipe.

That's all the clue that I can think of...and the sound only happens from time to time during slow accleration (like in a traffic jam or stoplight)

Any insights?

probably the same thing that happened to me? the cat flange to the header wasn't quite tight enough on one end (spring + bolt) and it caused rattling.

Could be, need to tighten it sometimes...you think it's dangerous to drive around?

gobble gobble of course.

Check heat shields. if not, maybe a broken bolt. something tells me its something to do with the exhaust.

Are you trying to be funny? Don't get me started...

How can it be the exhaust when the noise came from under the engine bay? Heatshield maybe, but remember, I am running a stock b-pipe that has great clearance with the heatshield.
