No adjustable cam gears? Oh well you might also want to get an aftermarket cam seal at the same time...

 

Are they new cam gears? Why didnt you just get adjustables?

 

stock ITR ones, came with the package.

 

Aftermarket cam seal?? Coincidence, i just got my 00 ITR cams in the mail today also, along with the proper ITR valve springs also. How much did you pay?

Well, not the cam seals that Dlo have pictured above. Im talking about the cam seal across the distributor right next to the Vtec solenoid.

The OEM ones are prone to leak frequently. If ya switch out the cams I was just suggesting to get it done while he was at it.

 

cool, you'll like it, it makes quite a noticable difference.

 

So nice. Wish I had the money to do that. Oh hang on I do. hahah

 

I would get some cam gears. You can pull some more power out of those cams.

how will it run w/o the ITR ecu?

 

stock redline, im not going to install the springs yet because that requires taking off the head. i have the VAFC for fuel tuning.
