yes i think it is worth it but have heard bad things about the crv having weak cylinder walls under high compression.

since u already have the ls/vtec, i dont think the gains would be worth your money. just use the money on other stuff or forced induction.

Why would you want to go b-20? Extra torque? Then stroke it yours. Extra HP? Then bore it. Doing a complete dump of your setup for a new setup would cost you more with marginal differences, rather than making your setup do what you want. Or, there is always FI!

the cylinder walls on b20 is thinner than b18's...like the other guy said...there's a chance it'll crack

Instead of buying a b20, use that money to sleeve your block, and in the process getit bored to 85mm or whatever (sorry dont know off hand) the b20 is. then youll have 2.0L AND a sleeved block.

I got it for a real good price in total i think i paid like 600 hundred bucks. The reason i'm thinkin of going b 20 is the block in my car has over 160,000 on it, when i did the conversion we just threw thetype r pistons in with out really changing the iternals. And the b-20 from import builders looks like a good buy cause it is pretty much brand new plus i want the extra torgue i think my car would move rather nice with that setup. I also have type r cams and a milled b-16 head.

Hey if you got the money go with the B20. A friend of mine has that setup, and he's putting down 205 to the wheels with 160 lbs of torque.

I have 75k on my 94rs, I'm just looking for a little extra kick, that's why I asked you about the vtec swap, I mean my mechanic will swap over a whole engine for me for $400 but the head swap might be a little more involved

id, just build the bottom end...sleeved, bored out to 84 (same as crv, and you can use the oem crv headgasket), new bearings, rods and higher compression pistions -like the JE 10.5...trust me, the b20 isnt that great with the stock 9.3:1 compression ratio (with the B16 head)... if i knew then what i knew now, id go for the LS and sleeve it... ...the only thing that keeps a smile on my face is that fact that is say "B20B" on the block....

EDIT: dont forget the Z10 Crank Girdle for safer high revs....
