Default fuel pump underneath the seats

is this the only pump the car uses? its a 94 LS

Should be. I believe all G3s have fuel pump access under the rear seat.

cool...i might need to get in there
the gsr has been having problems starting sometimes...it wont start on the first turn of the key..only happens occasionally...REALLY ANNOYING ME...it turns over, just wont start until 2nd maybe 3rd crank

pretty much all the honda/acuras (civics, integras, etc) I've worked on have had their fuel pump under the rear seat/trunk area where the gas tank is..

Did you check to see if you where getting a spark from the plugs. Could be that too.

Yes...plus change your fuel filter if you haven't for more than thirty thousand miles. You should do that anyway, because a restricted fuel filter will burn out your pump.

i was just doing in preparation for my turbo coming up, woudl the stock fuel filter be enough for say 220whp?

Eh, I wouldn't take the chance. Considering how much less expensive a performance fuel pump, filter and presuure regulator are than a new engine.

do a fuel pressure check. order a b&m fuel pressure guage and check to see if the fuel pressure is low. sign of a bad pump. you can also have a friend help you to check to see if your pump even turns on at power. i looked at my pump the other day and the filter was dirty... but it still turns on and pumps fuel. i found problems with my car mainly through ignition failure.
