help w/ 92 accord audio components
i have a '92 accord lx, how would i go about taking the factory speakers off of my front doors(driver and passenger side) so that i can replace them with pioneer speakers? it looks like i will have to pull off the entire inside-door panel to do it, but i would prefer not to. is there any other way?
also, how do i pull out the factory cd player so i can replace that too?
thanx alot!

If you look under and in front of the grill, you will see 2 screws, remove those and you can wedge the grill out carefully. In all honesty, it is much easier to remove the whole door panel, easier to access the mounting screws adn easier to cut the plastic baffle if you need to. If you take off the whole panel, just be really careful not to break the screw cover on the door latch handle.
To remove the stock stereo, you have to look from behind the dash w/ flashlight. You will see on the back of stereo a flange w/ 2 screws holding it in. I found the easiest way is buy one of those long flexy 1/4" drivers (looks like a long skinny spring)with an 8 mm socket. You can also use a philips screwdriver and patience.
