got another exhaust question. i am probly gunna go with a apex N1 but i have a friend u use to have a gsr and he had a comptech exhaust and he really liked it i think. but i wanted to see wat u all thought and help is really haelpfull. thanx

 

My brother has the comptech exhaust on his ITR. I think that it is a good exhaust. It sounds nice, better than most other exhausts' I hear driving around, but when you hit V-tec, it gets really loud. HP wise, I don't know how much you will gain cause my brother hasn't dynoed his car, and i haven't drove his car without the exhaust.

 

an ITr with an Comptech exhaust would only gain 1-2 whp if even that. The ITr already has a decent exhaust system. Most exhaust only give 3-4 whp. Spend your money on something else, IMO.

 

You should chose your exhaust based on your power goals.

160+ whp go w/ the 60mm N1

Less than that and you'll want the smaller comptech piping (2.25").

 

comptech= quiet

n1 = loud as *%$*

 

I would get the comptech because it is not that loud. It will make descent gains, probably nothing noticeable between the two.
