88 CRX HF w/ 91 LS B18
I just recently found a really good deal on a crx with a b18 in it i got the the car and the motor and some other things rear disc converstion some msd products for 400bux the guy started the swap and got the motor in the car some of the things are wired and some of them arent i do most my work on accords and preludes so im wondering what wiring harness ill need and what should be left out ect..

correct me if im wrong but i think u can use stock harness...im almost positive...i used stock harness for my b16...i just had to add vtec and knock sensor wires...but u dont have vtec with that motor so ur stock one should work just fine
the b18 from the 91 integra is obd0 or obd1?
also what mounts should have been used?

91 is obd-0. anything before 92 is obd-0. 92-95 obd1, 96+ obd 2.
any aftermarket b series mounts will work, place racing, hasport, hcp ....

The project rex you've gotten, you'll prolly want the wiring harness off of the stock HF engine. It'll plug right up to the LS engine. It's prlly already been swapped onto the engine in the car.
You don't need to convert obd-0 cars to obd-1 or obd-2, if you're running either(obd-1/2) of the newer engines. You can just use the OBD-0 electronics on the newer model engines. IE you just swap over a distributor and the injectors from a 90-91 'teg.
Also, the HF chassis have smaller spindles than the other CRX's. So you're gonna need to swap out for a set of Dx/Si spindle to fit the LS axles.

OK, ***. You are right, there TRUELY is NO OBD-0, just OBD-1. OBD-1 Version A(88-91) and OBD-1 Version B(92-95). Just like OBD-2 has versions A and B. Both OBD 1's and 2's versions are characterized by the fact that they have differing connectors at the ECU that aren't compatable with the older/newer versions. Thats why you can't plug a 92-95 OBD-1 ECU into an 88-91 OBD-1 car. But here we reference the 88-91 OBD-1 cars as OBD-0 just for sake of ease. Get over it and blow it out your ***.
anyone have any wiring/vac pix? i have 3-4 spots on the harness that arent matching up and this guy replaced some of the vac lines with red silicon bs and i cant trace them using the numbers on the lines..

you can use the stock crx hf harness idid the same swap and u will be pleased just make sure you get al 91 integra parts( if you need anything) i dont know what all came with it but make sure ecu and distributor are 91 or the harness wont line up right and you will need to do some wire swaping. my car ran a 14.4 (being the last and only time my car went down the track)
i am using integra parts ive replaced the dist, alt, starter so far but..... ill get pictures... theres part of the harness on comming off the fuel rail going toward the drivers side theres 3 connectorrs one rectangular 2 prong, one green connector i kno where it goes and another larger circular connector. the green one is the only one ive been able to match up i cant find a place for the two prong connector the circular one i believe i can match up to another end of the hf harness comming out of the firewall but the circular connectors dont match up and the one on the b18 has about 6 more wires going into it... ill try and get pix... of the problem areas.
whoever has a complete swap if yo ucould take pix of the intake manifold area, the area i described above and the area of connectors on the passenger side by the underhood fuse box ( a rectangular connector cased in orangeish plastic) id appreciate it

Umm lets see.......from your EXTREMELY cyptic response. I got that you're hooking got the driver's side wiring harness. The large round connector plugs into a similar round connector on the drivers side shock tower. That square green connector should plug into the injector resistor box. I'm think the other round 2 prong connector you speak of prolly plugs onto a sensor on the intake manifold.....Most likely it's the IAT(Intake Air Temp.) Sensor.
Also make damn sure you're using the HF ENGINE WIRING harness and NOT the inegra engine harness. If you've still got the 'teg harness on the engine hardly any of the wiring is going to match up.
The IAT sensor is that one right above the fuel rail, but below the throttle cable bracket.

from years model CRX's can i get the engine side harness from? 88-91 hf/si?

I dont know about CRX's but I know in the hatches (pretty sure its the same) the 88-89 and 90-91 harnesses are different, so you will want to get a harness that fits the year of your car. I have a b18b swap, and as stated I just used my stock si harness and swapped the alt, distb, starter and ecu to DC2 teg stuff.

For example...I am redoing the interior harness on that car now, and at first I got an 89 crx si harness...almost worked with my 90 si..but that plug you are talking about (pretty sure it goes to the injectors) on the tower didnt match up either. You might have the right harness, but the wrong year.

im not 100% sure ( you should check with a real tech for sure) but i think that might be a knock sensor. when we put my swap in we just went trough the ecu and wiring and took it out of the pic.
