Default The Engine Durability

I was just wondering, what is the average lifespan of a B18C5 engine? with minor or no mods? I think I´ll reach the 100k km´s mark within the next 1 1/2 year and I was wondering if some rebuilding would be needed?

Default Re: The Engine Durability (Keane Rated R)

Steve dyno'd my 125K mile B18C5 in his 4 door civic the other day, with a stock ITR exhaust manifold.

It made 170 hp with his Hondata setup, and 175 with the type R ignition coilpack system he was trying out.
Not bad for 200,000 KM's on an un-opened motor!
