hey my friend has a 94 civic ex coupe 5 sp and he bought it from a auction and he can keep up with a 93 hb si fully built engine and the ex has I/E, WHY IS IT SO STRONG DAMNIT

 

haha, because, his motor has magic beans in it.

no man its a stock d16z6 motor same as in my 93 civic

he has everthing from injectors to fuel rail to exhaust to cam, cam shaft, vtec controller, ecu, header, intake, running striaght pipe man he has so much stuff i cant think of it all

 

How about pistons and such? Or maybe something else a little more internal?

 

94 has I/E thats all y is it soooo strong?

who knows if its fast, maybe the kid cant drive in that case your car isnt fast at all...

what times do you hit at the track?

 

hatch ran 15.2 and the 94 ex keeps up with it and is bone stock except I/E

 

do you win or just keep up?

15.2 isnt exactly fast for a "built" hatch is it!!

We don't have access to both the cars and a test track and dyno so quit asking the damn question!!!!

 

Sounds like the hatch needs a new or stronger clutch.

edit-your saying dont worry bout the hatch i want to know why the ex is so strong.

well we are staying with the hatch because the ex is NOT so strong...its just that your hb is weak and we are trying to figure out why.

i say its driver tho.

im sorry but the 94 ex is not weak for haveing just I/H and motor is stock d16z6 how do u call that weak znd he beat a hatch that ran 15.2 in the 1/4 and the hatch now has a pretty built gsr in it now he just got it 2 days ago and how many basically stock ex's can beat and 15.2?

 

I have a 94 EX with I/E only as well, and let me tell you, it does not run 15.2 or close to it (yet ) I think youve got ur numbers messed up bro...

 

Is it a 93 Civic Si with the D-series motor? Or does it have a transplanted B-series. The 92-95 Hatch Si's were, 1. HEAVY, 2. Had D series motors (If I remember correctly, they have the 127 HP and 108 lb/ft of torque). If he has a BUILT Si motor from 92-95 then it's more plausible that he's keeping up, but still means the hatch driver is horrid at racing.
