im wondering which delsol A/C bracket to use for an ls swap in a 92-00 civic
i ordered the bracket for the 96-97 delsol w/ the b16a. but the damn A/C does'nt line up. please somebody help me out, im tired of braking the two bolts off in the other bracket.

 

I got an ls motor in my 92 civic with a civic compressor. I used the del sol b16a bracket and the bolts lined up with the compressor. Are u sure u got the rite bracket?

You can use a '94-'96 DOHC VTEC Del Sol AC bracket. It has P54 in the part number. It does NOT have P30 in the part number. That is a fact.

Or you can use a JDM ITR aluminum AC bracket but you will need to tap threads for the four compressor bolt holes and the tensioner pulley arm. You will also need to drill a hole and tap threads for the tensioner bolt. It is not hard to do. The bracket also needs to be notched slightly to clear the AC compressor. The JDM ITR aluminum AC bracket is almost the same price as the steel DOHC VTEC Del Sol AC bracket.

A B20b bracket works fine with the 92-95 civic compressor.
