Which Tire?: Kumho 712, Falken Azenis, Toyo T1-S
How long have these tires lasted for you if you have any of them?
Do the Falken Azenis emit a lot of road noise?
I'm looking for the best bang buck/long lasting and quiet tire.
Kumho 712
Falken Azenis.
Toyo Proxes T1-S

are you going to be doing any competitive events or track days? if not, i'd go with the 712's. if yes, i'd go with azenis. i can't comment on the so-3--i have never run with them.

None at all. Just purely street use. I just want the best overall tire that will last the longest.

heres a couple mileage figures based on my friends and my own driving:
Kumho 712 - 25-30K
Nitto NT450 - 27K (don't get these they suck in both wet and dry)
BFG T/A - 25K
Dunlop SP Sport 9000 - 18K
Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position - 15K
Bridgestone Potenza RE730 (1st gen): 25K
as for the Toyo T1-S I have no idea... don't know anyone who has had them long enough to have worn them out yet...

bang for the buck:
quiet and long lasting - kumho
grippy for the price - azenis
and yes the azenis are pretty loud

Id say Azenis's...they are a little loud but with the stickyness you forget about everything. I had Kuhmo 712 and they did not stick at all and they were loud too. Over all i say Falken's
I like my 712s just fine. They hum a bit, but nothing intolerable. They grip like a sonofagun and ride well. Plus they've stood up to my driving pretty well. I have the V-rated tires in 205/50-15. 320 treadwear is good.
if you can afford it, get the S-03's, if not, azenis hands down.
I'd realy like to get these on my car...the mileage figures above were from my friends Eclipse GS-T
anyone ever gone from toyo prozes fz4's to the kumhos?
i plan to get the 712s pretty soon and was wondering how much of a grip improvement there is

I have the Kumho 712's, and I like them quite a bit. Excellent wet traction, snow traction is so-so. Handling is decent for the price range and the addition of the increased wet traction over the Azenis.
Road noise was more than my factory setup, but not bad overall.
