and at what angle of deviation off the horizontal center does the harness have to be at to not "compress your back 4 inches"?
His neck will snap when he rolls the car and cannot move out of the way becasue he is strapped in tight. to his seat. The Harness should be parralle to just a hair lower than shoulder height.
Great.
Race harnesses in a street car with no rollcage?
**** how many times will we all have to see this type of **** here? I wish I had $5.00 for every thread that debated harnesses in a street car without rollover protection such as a rollbar.
Stock seatbelts will allow you to slide away from the roof that would be caving in on you in the event of a roll over - harnesses will hold you snug and you'lll be crushed to death.
Nice research there!
Looks like another case of FF-Squaditis where someone wants JDM parts for the coolness factor.

is it on the street? does this car see the track?
and what angle? i doubt "a hair" is the mandatory mount angle governed by the scca or nasa.

wow....i was yelling at my friend because his stupid bling bling "jdm y0" car has harnesses without rollover protection. and he said that some place called the NHTSA makes sure that cars can withstand 1.5 times their weight in a rollover. ha, fucken ricer!

Honestly, in a roll over, you have no ******* clue what is going on. Have you rolled a car? It happens so fast, and you don't know what is comming from where. Trust me, I know. You aren't going to 'slide away from the roof' in a situation like rollover.
