hard to shift with new tranny/clutch setup....suggestions??
alright as of today i am now running a 91 Si transmission and a Clutch Specialties Stage 3 racing clutch with a stock d16z6 pressure plate and flywheel. Now i seriously have to slam the clutch down to the carpet to get smooth shifts and it seems rather soft. Often when i am coming to a stop it is very hard to bring my car into 1st, it just seems like i have to push through the floor.
Is there anything i can do that may better this situation, if thinking i could extend my clutch petal about and inch or so, would this do anything?
