Default ST rear sway bar question... jamb nuts?

hey guys, i just had a quick question. i JUST got my sway bar today, and i was putting all the hardware together to see how it all goes (there is a lot!) and i think i have it right, all except for the jamb nuts that lock against the mating threads of the male and female spherical bearings. The jamb nuts (the only nuts without nylon in the set) have too coarse a thread to fit properly on the male spherical bearing thread.... has anyone else had this experience? or do i have it all wrong? i'll try to get a pic asap.... thanks!
