DEI, hands down nothing beats DEI interms of quality, price, and feature. Almost all DEI alarms are lifetime warranty also. Any installer will tell you that DEI is the best in the market. They make alarms such as Viper, Python, Sidewinder, Hornet, and even bought out Clifford.

I've always liked the mid-upper - top models from Clifford, Viper/DEI, Alpine and Compustar..

avoid Aladdin 2000 and all its other mutations/knock offs.. also avoid generic brands like my friend got... we couldn't find a new remote for it.. and had to GHETTO rig the remote to work by buying a switch.. and soldering in a new one ourselves.. otherwise his alarm would have been useless... stick w/ name brands... you'll have better luck w/ warranty (most have lifetime), parts/remote availability, product support, other shops knowing how to work on it...

I've had very good experience w/ Cliffords.. my whole family has been using Clifford for over 2 decades and my parents have much nicer cars than I do... and they use Clifford...make sure the install is good.. otherwise a good alarm w/a crappy install isnt much good..
