i have posted this in FI already, so don't move it.. just getting the crx peeps attention. i need to know if the greddy down pipe that comes with the greddy turbo kit (sohc) will clear my front crossmember? or do i have to hack it all up? i have no ac fan or compressor in the way of it.... and i have a d16z6 in my 88 rex. thanks

 

Did the same thing to mine. Had to use an air hammer an cut about 2 inches into the xmember and 3 inches across. It was pretty easy once the pinch weld was cut through. Good luck!

If i were you i would by some elbows an get a custom DP made. I dont know if you know Brad(the dude with the turbod Si) but he has a Greddy kit and he swapped out his DP for a custom one and he got 7hp and alot better spool up time. Cant wait to see the finished product. When are you gonna put the kit on? If you need any help just ask...ive helped put on 2 kits so im a little familiar with them. Cant wait to race you either...itll be a close one. B SERIES POWER BABY j/k.

yo, whats up man... this is who i think it is right? white rex? yea i know the civic you are talking about. IM me later if i am on or something. i would love to have some help making a down pipe.. how hard would that be considering i have to place the 02 sensor somewhere?starting to put it on tomorrow i believe. i have the oil pan and header and intake off.... i have to get my oil return line pipe thingy welded to the pan tomorrow, along with my BOV. thinking of re-spraying all the pipes though. they are all scratched up and junk.IM me later...
