Default OT: is this a good price for kamikaze 4-1 ?

black $235 + $18 s&h

chrome: $255 + $18 s&h

ceramic: $285 + $18 s&h

i can pick between 2.25 collector or 2.50 , this is going into my f22b1. Insteed of
paying for a h22 i will spend the cash on the f22b1 and see what i can do with it . turbo maybe coming into play.

can you also tell me if comtech makes a header for a f22b1 i tryied to find one but
with no luck, even checked there website and i did not see anything for a accord
exept for the v6 accord ?

That sounds like a good price to me. Get the 2.5 inch collector though. I wouldn't recommend the black either. I had a black header before and the black burnt off the first week and after that it had a beautiful rust color ...

Edit: It seems more people now are trying to see what they can do with the F series engines. Maybe the aftermarket will open up further. I'm leaning more towards my F22b turboed also...

that is a great price, you defiantly want cermaic though, but if your thinking about turbo why buy a header? why not look into a turbo manifold?

stew im telling you f22 turbo or if you come across an h23 cheap build that with the turbo and then throw it in together

stew i agree with you , it seems like more people are working on there f series engines. i hope the market opens up too. one question . i dont plan on going turbo for another year , so that i can do some research + save a few bucks. you seid i should get the 2.5" collector on the header , do you think i could still use the 2.5" exhaust cat back if i go turbo or go 3'' .

this is for who needs vtec, you bring a good point up about the turbo manifold. I just want a header and exhaust for now then worry about the turbo , if i get it. if i do i sale the header and try to keep the catback. Do you also know how may inches the 4-1 will stick out off the underbody of the car.

thanks for the help ,

If you go turbo, then get the 3" exhaust. Try to eliminate as much back pressure as possible.

hey if you want to go with a nice custom exhaust hit me up on pm or email Mkteller8@aol.com and ill talk to you bout the ones i ve gotten for several ppl on here. also you can check my signature and click the pics to see one of the 96 that was done. I get them at a great and cheap price, better than what you ll find out there right now. Not only that if you do decide to go 3" later, i ll even cut you a break and help you out on a repeat order.

thanks

MIKE

no problem man it said in your first post that you were just trying to save some money...so i thought thats what you wanted to do.

you would be alright running low boost with a 2.5" system, but once you get maybe 8 pounds + i would hit up Kteller for a 3" turbo back he makes great products
