Break boosting
how bad is it for your car when you break boost to let the turbo spool up?

what the hell is "break" boosting?? do you mean brake boosting??
Is your car automatic?? are you holding down the brake and revving.

sorry had a typo there. yes, I do have a automatic tranny but I am planning on doin a tranny swap after I purchase the Greddy kit. I'm thinkin with that little turbo, the turbo should spool up just as fast.
Pretty bad.
Power braking is commonly used to test the stall speed of torque converters to find any problems, Honda recommends not doing this test to their transmissions.
