Never get a cleaner engine than from http://www.importautosalvage.com
They even Ship the ECU in it's own package so as not to get damaged.

there have been threads about the pros and cons of all of the engine distributors named above. osaka is definitely the least expensive... but if some may argue you get what you pay for...

Got my B16a from JHP, buddy just got an H22 from there... both times shipped fast fair price but after looking at the paperwork Turned out they order from a place in Florida .... .the same place I found my motor at a cheaper price ... but then I couldent get a hold of them for like 5 days and went with JHP .... turns out JHP's mark up on a b16a (2nd gen) is 200$ seems fair they need to make their money on it .... the place in florida was ezfind parts or something like that ... the guy you want to talk to is Jason Moore at extention 8781 Good luck ..

jdm is in the US osaka is in CANADA.....very little recourse to getting your money back if something goes wrong with osaka,,,
When i ordered my swap from JHP, the ecu came on the crate with the motor swap, and there was Antifreeze all over the ECU, not good. And then the transmission wouldnt even go into gear it was so bad. But the did send me a new one after examining the bad one. Good luck with who ever you order from!
PS: what are your plans for the prelude motor? N/A, Boost?

with complete motors you take a risk from where ever you buy. Because they aren't the ones who manufacture them, and there is no way for them to test them out individually. They simply receive them from there supplier and ship em out.
jdmhondaparts.com is
sheng's a good guy, he has been around for a while and knows what it is like to get dicked around by shitty shops/dealers. They also have a start up warranty, which is nice to know.

I got my stuff from Osaka personally because they are always good to me, so why go elsewhere and for the prices i pay, are basically the same in Canadian funds that you guys pay in US funds so when i do the math, it's be crazy to get a swap in the states for more money when my exchange rate is like 60%.... and to top that one off, i check US prices and man some places are complete rip off's !!! ITR swaps for like 5k US ?? you guys insane you can get a built block for that price.....
my last h22a swap costed me little over 1800US when doing the exchange rate and my block was mint, was a bit dirty but i wanted it that way so i knew how i got it, upon looking into it when my motor was completely disasembled mine was extremly low miles.. as they said....
osaka gets a thumbs up..

why is osaka so much cheaper than hmo???? what don't they offer? are they jdm motors?
the prices are some of the best, hear nothing but good things. based on the rep that they have with there customers as well as their prices i am going to buy a motor from them.

ummm.... no, all our motors are JDM,,,.... not to be rude but our name says it all osakajdmmotors.com why do ppl think we sell USDM stuff?
Also... the reason why we can offer our motors at such a great price is because we do not have a middle man to go through, we have our own wrecking yards and warehouse's in japan, we have 3 yards in Japan, so there is no middle man raising the price, its just basically straight from japan to you...
Really, so you dont sell any usdm motors? I was just curious because I emailed you guys and you emailed me back with what I quoted in the previous post?
Do you sell any USDM motors? or just JDM?
