b16 went out!!
I was driving in the road when i came to a red light. It was on a uphill and i took off in 1st regularly and it rattled a little. So i thought whatever i didnt engage it perfectly. I go to second and all of a sudden its like something got a hole like a "thump" and this really loud "bid bid bid" noise like those modified domestics and i just pulled over. I couldnt find what was wrong so i took it home. It was really loud like i had no cat and the rpm was bouncing a little. It still engaged vtec but i think it was going way slower. Man i hope its not my tranny, i could still shift perfectly help thx
Check that all your plug wires and make sure they are connect to the distributor. Sounds like one of them popped off the distributor, so only 3 cylinders are firing. It used to happen all the time with my old crappy MSD wires.
Atfer all this happen, you still brought the rpms highe enough to engage vtec
, and yes it sounds like one of your cylinders stoped working. Check your wires and if there ok check plugs and everything else that is related.

yeah thanks guys it was my plug wires. For some reason cylinder #2 the wire just popped straight up and popped a hole in my spark plug cover. Weird ****.
the reason it blew a hole in the spark plug cover is because you brought the revs up to get the vtec to kick in and all of the power from the coil had to go somewhere, the path of least resistance (the spark plug cover). just a little info for ya.
