Hytech Header+V-afc controller??

Ive heard that Hytech headers and a v-afc controller can get you a 20 hp gain? anyone know alil more about this? thanks, Shawn

It was Hytech Header, Hytech catback, cam gears, apexi vafc = 20whp gain

Austin: Did you have adjustable cam gears for your tuning? Also, how's the Hytech exhaust sound like?

Yes, I do have adjustable cam gears. I'm hoping to get some sound clips at the dyno in 2 weeks. I really like the sound, but since I'm currently running a test pipe it's a little louder than it should be.

I got a little more than that on my car from my old setup. Even with just bolt-on without tuning it did pretty well.

DISCLAIMER: To prevent any flaming I am not endorsing HyTech in any way. I am simply posting a dyno that I had done of my car and am sharing my experience a member who asked a question.

just talk to austin on the phone when he is driving. he likes to hit vtec, it sounds more than badass. both people dont bother talking till he upshifts

its like, me: "i need to go to kragen to get some more... :vtec: *buuwwwahhhhh* upshift :endvtec: oil for ma car"

it is a very nice sounding exhaust. it makes the car sound more mean. it just doesnt purr along. it pretty much screams

but at normal rpms its more balanced

Yeah, I've seen quotes at 20+ with Vafc and Header/exhaust set ups.....nice gains for the money.
