What kind of Carbon Fiber hood do you have?? i've been going crazy looking for one...i saw one on importtrenz.com but i'm not sure about the quality of it...what kind of front lip is that?? never seen it!!! your V looks really nice!! ..i'll try to get more pics...

I bought the Koni's a while back...they costed me in the high 400's...they are all adjustable...but inorder to adjust the rears...you have to take out the whole shock to adjust them...while the fronts...you just use the **** koni supplies you with...did you lower the car?? looks a bit lowered...what kind of exhaust do you have??

I almost bought a CR-V instead of my Civic. I'm thinking it might be my next vehicle. You have Ground Control coilovers, right? Have you ever run your CR-V in the quarter mile?

i got it custom made by sunny styling(so cali)
i paid about 500 for it. its VERY nice quality. the edges are smooth, better than most i've seen. the underbody is 100% like an OEM hood. its very nice. im sure i can get u some sort of deal if u want. just let me know.

i also have phillips ultinon hids on my car and im selling them for 400(i paid 470 i have receipt) i got it 2 weeks ago. i sold my old set and got another one. my car is lowered.

i lowered the front some more since that pic. i had like -2.7 camber. it was that low. i guess your car looks lower cuz u have a bodykit.

my exhuast is a greddy sp muffler with a power extreme tip(custom from greddy) they made this muffler to some guy who special ordered it who sold it to me.

front lip is a HOME DEPOT front lip. haha its that **** people ues for their lawn trim. but ohwellz. post more pix of ur car. any engine mods?

 

i'm from the NJ...but sometime during New Year's i may be around LV or in LA...and perhaps we could meet up...from the sounds of it...the CF hood sounds nice...

I think my car is still a touch lower...i'm lookin at wheel gap...i could barely fit two fingers inbetween the tire and fender...wow...-2.7 camber??...oh ****...i didn't know it was that bad...i don't have a camber kit...and i've been running on these tires for about 20 something thousand miles...and there are no signs of inner treadwear...weird huh??...well i also auto-x...but i don't think it has anything to do with it...

As far as engine mods go....i have a Skunk2 i/m....ghetto rigged CAI...i would've bought an AEM...but since the throttle body sits lower...it doesn't fit...Focuz muffler...i got that cause the stock muffler looked liek *** with the Mugen kit...and i was too broke from buying the kit to afford a GReddy exhaust... ...and finally i have NOS...boy i love that bottle....haha...i also JUST ordered a B16 VTEC head...so if anyone is interested...i'm probably going to be selling my SK2 i/m....

What mods do you have??

in the quarter...i ran it stock...liek bone *** stock...a 18.6 @76...hahaha...it's pathetic...i have a slush box...so...mama wanted a grocery getter...so...it's the CR-V...i haven't ran the car yet with the bottle....but...i would guess in the mid 16's...i auto-x much more often than i do drag...it's more fun....

 

i have the later model cr-v. b20z2. i dunno what u have.
as for mods i got a dc 4-2-1 1piece header, HKS intake, and greddy cat back. with a perforated resonator.

if i put on my stock rims/wheels theres barely a 2 finger gap. but my rims are 16" and tires are 205/55. they are smaller in diameter than my stocks.. i like ur stock alloy's.. my car is the BASELINE LX =X or was one.. now it looks like a SE baby!! hahaha
u dont need a camber kit unless u really needa adjust it. just get alignment and a lil camber adjustment. toe or whatever. we have to meet up! by then i'll have more goodies i hope!!! haha. 18.6 bone stock.. is your car stick or auto?

i have a 98 EX..B20B...what kinda headers do you have?? i was considering a Comptech...and talked to someone that bought them..and he seemed pretty satisfied with them....HKS made an intake for the CR-V??

My car's an auto...sucks a$$...but with NOS...i think it'd be in the 16's....

How much you want the hood for?? Could you provide me with more pics?? Any scratches??...well...i kinda expect scratches...cause when buyin stuff second hand...it's usually never perfect...

I bought my Mugen kit at King Motorsports...they are the only authorized dealers of Mugen in the US...i really wouldn't get it anywhere else...cause you'll never know if they're fake or not...wow....100 miles a day....phew..that's a lot...i have about 60k on mine...

As a next mod for your car...i would say shocks...if your is lowered...and it's as low as mine...i would def. do shocks...with the coilovers i had...i was bouncin like a mexican jelly bean...but then again...my springs were linear springs...so...they were at a constant stiffness....we really should meet up one day...

 

if u have the money for comptech i would go with them, BUT u can use DC headers, for 99+ civic si, ls itnegra 94-00, and more. any bseries header will fit your car. but comptech is the best.

how much did u pay for your mugen kit?

my hood is in near flawless condition. im sure theres a chip or two. but the hood is awesome. i drive 100miles a day but no matter when u spot my car, it's clean and spotless. i take care of my car's body/paint.

hks doesn't make an intake, i just used an akimoto funnel ram pipe, sprayed it flat black with engine enamel(so its not so bling) and then got the 150mm hks super power flow whatever intake head. that intake kicks ***. its the green intake u see on all those japanese supra's and rx7's all fully raced out. haha i figured if they use it. it HAS be to good...

the b20b has 20 less hp than a b20z. my car comes with 146hp/135tq to the fly STOCK on the sticker. with itnake, header, and exhuast, im hoping i can push a good 5 hp to the wheels. but since u have a new intake manifold and u plan on dropping a vtec head... man i wish i can do that. your car will be pretty fast. any more pix of ur car? this time post them as JPG's.. it'll load faster for 56'ker's like me... hehe

 

i was told a GSR header wont' work with the B20 cause where the downpipe ends...is not where the cat is....which one did you buy??

I dont' remember how much i paid for the kit...but it was an arm and a leg...somewhere in the 4-5G's...

How much you want for your hood?? the green intake sucks?? I never really looked into the HKS intake...it sucks at filtering?? or is it restricitve??

Most of my power gain is from the lovely bottle...i bought a How-to book by Joe Petite...all about NOS...it was some 100 something pgs...i like know everything about it!!...i read about the history of it and all...haha...i'm just guessin my HP should be somewhere around 150 at the wheels...you should be gettin more than just 5 hp to the wheels...the factory header sucks...it's basically a piece of stamped metal with holes in em...and intake is due to about 5-7 hp...header is about 6-10...and your exhaust is about 2-3...so...i think 5 is a bit too conservative...

hks green intake IS GOOD!

umm im not sure about a gsr, but sticking with a LS integra header or a CIVIC SI(dohc vtec) is perfect.

i wish i could run nos. hahaha i would be considering sellign the hood for 400 with the hoodpins(sparco silver). dang thats a lot of money for a mugen kit. i wish i could afford that. haha but for now im just keeping it clean and kitless...
my header is DC 4-2-1 ONE PIECE CERAMIC FOR A 99-00 CIVIC SI(dohc vtec) model.

as for hp. im not sure, i know its quicker than before.. how did u launch your car when u ran it? i really wanna try to run it just too see how slow it is. hehe

 

when i launched...i basically power braked...i think that's what you call it...as my foot was on the brake...i woudl gas the car...but you gotta get your timing right...you only push the trottle to about 3/4s of the way down...don't push it gradually...push it fast...and your RPM will spike to about 2700...when it spikes is when you should release your throttle...i pushed the throttle when i say the first small yellow light on the tree light...at that time...i had my 4WD system out...i take out the whole system during the non winter seasons...so you'll get a lil wheel spin...it's so easy to get wheel spin without the 4WD(obviously)....with the 4WD it'll just churp and that's it...

When you looking to sell the hood?? Are they sparco hood pins?? or lookalikes??

oh yea b20, the rims kick ***. the stock tires on a cr-v sucks bigtime!!!! with bridgestone so2 tires.. OH MAN.. i take 90 degree turns in pouring rain at 35+ without losing traction. i do about 110-115 on the freeway without hydroplaning or anythhing in pouring rain. besides that the rims just have show purposes.. hehe
