Default car won't start

I just put a 91 crx si engine in my 90 std hatch and I have everything hooked up correct, I have fuel at the plugs and also a spark but the car will not start, it turns over but will not start up it acts like it want to once in a while but it will not any suggestions

yea everything is correct as far as the wiring and everything goes and I am using a 91 crx ecu

could it be that my ignition timming or fuel timming could be off

did you replace the timing belt? yeah, that could be possible. check all you ground wires. make sure the cams markings line up level w/ the head at tdc. check fuses too.
