Hey guys..some friends and I are starting a car club (ny,nj) and was looking for tips to start....like getting sponsors and all....any advice would be helpful...if any of ya'll are in a car club, lemme know your website!

 

car clubs are extra strength weaksauce. You think you'll get sponsers? Eh..............nO!!! Not with just the lil Aem intake, your local rice shop might offer to give you 5% off of indiglos if you floss their banner on your windshield, thats about it.

 

What do you mean by sponsors? I know that trying to get someone to sponsor a full blown race car is hard enough. Remember that you will be representing someones business as well they are representing you. If either on is a pile of crap you or them will look the same way. If you are looking for someone to sponsor a group of kids that has similar cars then all you will find are show shops and rice distributors.

 

yeah true..sadly to say only my car sucks *****.....but thanks anyway!

LOL...when ppl ask me what club/crew I am from I always say "HT"
they look all confused..lol

 

The only clubs or teams that get sponsors have tons of cash already invested in their cars and are on the unique end of the spectrum. Its not easy to get sponsors in anything auto related, race or show.
