I have a 1991 Civic LX 1.5 and the TPS is bad on it -- does anyone know where I can buy on replacement? The dealer only sells the TPS attached to the throttle body, and they're giving me a $700 quote. That's a bit steep, obviously, so I was hoping to find a replacement and install that, but no places seem to sell it....

The only way to get one is to find someone that has a tb and ask if you can buy just the tps. Or you can go to a salvage yard and try your luck with a used throttle body or cut the mounting screws off and reove the tps. But the dealer is going to cost an arm and a leg since they will only sell the tps along with the tb.
