hey everyone i have a 91 civic hatchback si and im getting a h-zc dohc engine put in (japanese integra engine) well it should have only taken a day to put it in the mechanic says i need a new computer new belts new distributer well i told him i dont need the computer cuz it runs without it belts from my si engine work on the zc engine and the distibuter should hook right up just change a plug or 2 well he didnt beleive me and combined two distributers to make the one for my car (he has been workin on my engine for a month) well he finally has it done but like a redneck imbred cant get a spark from the plugz and i was wondering if anyone could help me out by tellin me what to do to get a spark and whatnot so i can get my car back asap

 

With the ZC swap sometimes the two white distributor wires are hooked up backwards. Try switching them around and make sure all the other distributor wires are hooked up correctly.
