OT: Team CW Hockey Player down.....

Late in the 3rd last night I took a high stick to my left eye. 6 stitches. Close call. Maybe I should wear a face mask?

Nope. None of my camera people showed up. Mugenmike and Geliftefish were out on a date with each other

This is why chinese people don't play hockey. I would get my *** stomped. Ice skating is fun....but ice skating with some 275 lb **** waving a wooden stick at me is not my idea of my "happy place".

LOL. That's why I quit playing college hockey. 5'5" and 160lbs doesn't cut it.

Sorry bro. I was down in Chicago for the dyno event and didn't get home till ~10:00. Would of liked to have made it.

I got a hit in the eye with a goalie stick a couple years back. The goalie was clearing the puck, as I was crashing the net... Next thing I know, I am looking through my eye lid. The day I got those stitches out, I got hit just above the eye (almost the same spot as yours) and back for more stitches.
BTW, are you skating with a half shield now?

heh. I had 32 stitches (8 inside) once in my thigh from a street hockey stick back when I was little. One of my 'friends' just sliced me right in the thigh with one of those worn out plastic blades - really sharp apparently.
