im trying to get my ACT installed soon because the factory clutch is really not gripping right. my last run at the strip could have been the fastest.... except the clutch wouldt grip until 5k

p.s. that was my best 60' to date.. im consitenly in the 2.3's

i think those are pretty good numbers, what tires are you using? What did you launch at? Are you getting flywheel along with the clutch install? btw capitol is a nice dragstrip been there many times, what color is your CL?

 

im using stock dunlops @ 22psi...

launching at 3k getting off the clutch quickly.... but not sidestepping.

no. no flywheel unfortunately.... maybe i'll order one.


my CL is primrose. it's got acura-cl.com stickers on it.

 

you should do the whole deal at once IMO. can the clutch wait or is it really really bad? What does Capitol close?

 

eh... i just really want to get the ACT in and done.

Capitol doesnt have a set closing date for test and tune.... is what the lady told me.

as long as there are enough people that come out, and the weather is good.... racing is on.

(im sure they close when it gets to freezing temps.... all that water in the box and all)

 

Do the flywheel too. You'll be happy you did. Its usually a favorite mod of those who buy light flywheels.

 

I am glad I got the flyhweel when I did but only wish I could have added an lsd.

 

hmm..... i might as well.... while it's all taken apart... why spend the money later?
