Removing the centercap from stock wheels.
Well, I currently have my 14 inch alloys on my civic right now because I don't have my others yet and I was wondering if it would be safe or if anyone has taken off the center cap to improve the look of the wheel. On mine personally, I think having the centercap out would look much better. So my other question is, has anybody done this before? Thanks.

good point. To get it off, can't I just use a plunger and plunge it off?I am assuming I have to take the 4 lug nuts off right? Thanks.
I think you have to take the wheel off and pop it through from the other side of the wheel.
Thanks for the replies. Actually, on my alloys, I just used a screw driver to pop one side out then the whole thing popped out. I don't know if I am going to leave it like this because the inside of it is all brownish colored. I guess I could clean it up, but it just looks kind of awkward. Any suggestions. Thanks.
