i have an 88 Crx and im dropping a B20B into it and my question is which type transmission do i need cable or hydraulic or does it matter which one?

any b-series tranny should work however since your tranny is already cable, id keep it cable since you dont hav eto add the hydraulic components

 

Cable tranny but another question is (all-motor) or (turbo-nitrous) cuz if your goind all motor u can use a b16a tranny or a 93 gs-r tranny they have close ratio gears or ls tranny which will still work but have a little longer gears

I wouldn't use the B16A cable tranny for your B20... too many RPMS. I would use the LS tranny.

 

why a b20b? what really amazes me is that ppl are goin to do a swap and dont know if they need a cable or hydro tranny.

 

b20b has the ability to produce the most torque...
