Default My ZC before it gets some head work..... 56k beware

These are some pics of my 91 Civic Si w/ ZC. I took these today right before i pulled the head off. I'm sending the head to JGenginedynamics to be re-built. The pics might take a minute to load but they are preety good pics of my ZC.

red loom . Looks like my engine bay minus the ZC. Whats JG going to do? P&P new valves, springs and retainers. Mill the head? Hopefully turnaround will be fast.

i cant really tell a differance but i guess it keeps more heat in the headers, but almost all of the wrap i had on my down pipe has come off from when i hit somthing. JG going to do a vavle job, port/polish, springs/retainers, cleaning, etc. So far their pretty nice and have replied quickly to my e-mails. I'll let you know how everything goes.

ok guys 1 question. how do you know where to put your cams when u put them back in like alignment? do the cam sprockets only go in one spot like grooves?

cause i know u use the TDC marks on the cam and crank to align the crank with cam.

Normally when you remove a head, you set the Timing to TDC, meaning both Cam marks on the cam sprokets are aligned correctly, and the Crank pulley is aligned with the notch on the timing cover case (Top Dead Center) This will ensure that when you re-install everything it will be timed perfect, and its alot easier.

Too bad they are not touching your intake manifold. Those teeny pea holes will not help your p&p job.

To bad your sending it to JG.....

I would think that choice over again

Almost EVERYONE who gets work done through them ends up getting screwed!....Just make a post on the FI forum. You'll see!.
