Has anyone's clutch master/slave cylinder gone up on them??

i took mine in to check out this "THUNK"ing noise in the front shock area, and when I got it back they said the master cylinder is leeking.. and someone else told me every honda they owned did that....

my slave was leaking once. basically low clutch fluid results in a weak clutch pedal feel, or it wont even engage the clutch when you step on it if you are that low on fluid. the only way you ever run out of clutch fluid is if you have a leak in the master/slave cylinders.
