i was wondering if any of you guys have dynotuned your car on the nitrous,my question is do you guys put out to the wheels what you are supposed as far ,let's say your spraying a 50 shot do you guys make 50 whp just wondering

 

I am wondering the same thing, i'm goin to be gettin a zex kit and would like to see some numbers....a 50 shot will not give you 50 hp to the wheel, but it will to the crank...

your not going to get 50 to the wheel. thats why its good to dyno n20, just bring a buncha other jets and get it set till you actually do get 50 to the ground

 

i disagree...
n20 is inconsistent, but i have seen in quite a few cases the car dyno'ing more whp than the jet is set for... example 58whp from a 50shot

 

It all depends on the brand. The only company I can think of off hand that rates their kits in WHP is TNT.

 

without n20 i dynoed 124whp and 136ft pounds

zex 55 shot i dynoed 172whp and 192ft lbs of torque

 

thanks guys i will be going to the dyno and see what it throws down,because i've been to the dyno before with a bottle that weighed in at 17lbs it was almost empty and dynoed in at 160whp and 141lbs. tq,but the car was running real rich and i didn't have a bottle heater on it,so i plan to go back and see what it lays down with a full bottle and a gauge and heater
