Default How much do I torque the bolts for the Front Strut Tower Bar?

This is for a EK non-Si civic
So my strut bar attaches to the 2 Shock bolts on both sides of the engine bay.
I read in Dec. issue of Super Street that "While using a 14mm socket, torque each shock bolt to 33lb/ft" - This example was put on a RSX-
So should I set my torque wrench to 33lb/ft and tighten each of the 4 bolts for the tower strut bar?
Is 33lb/ft tight enough?

should be plenty. Just don't overtighten them

OK, what happens when I overtighten them?

well, don't strip the threads is what I mean. You don't need to REEF on them or anything, go by the specs and if you can't find any, get them tighter than snug.
