What do you guys think of the eggplant color for the 2001 civic? my dad wants to give me his which is that color and put rims and a spoiler on it. most likely gun metal rims.

yea like a deeper purple, i think it has a little metallic in it.

 

Purple is a good color My backpack is purple.

 

its called deep plum purple or something like that.

ok, so u think it would be nice lowered, with some nice 17 or 18 inch motegi gun metal rims with a rear oem spoiler and tinted windows (with the pin stripe removed)?

 

my car is purple, actually dark amethyst pearl.

not too much going for speed but style, i want to take care of this one i feel so sympathetic for my car after i race.

 

IMO I wouldn't really go by what everyone else thinks, it's gonna be your car so you should hook it up the way you want. But that's just my $.02

 

The color, according to Honda, is Black Currant Pearl. My wife nearly bought a 99 Accord Coupe V6 with that color. Weird at first, but it grows on you quick. The depth of the color is amazing, and it seems to shift color in the daytime.

cool, yea it does grow on you, its a different color not many people have and its unique. I think some nice jdm headlights and dark rims would look nice on that car along with tinted windows. i will be the few in my city to have a fixed up 2001 civic. lol
