Well, I finally got around to timing my car at the track tonight. Many of u may know my goal for my car was to hit 12.9 @ over 110mph on BFG Drag radials w/ full interior and stock motor. and i am sooooooooooooo close.

I borrowed arts BFG's to run tongiht(THANKS ART!) and set the boost to .85bar. I left everything in the car, even the my 40lb bag of tools. The car wieghed in at an unusually heavy 2750lbs. it wieghed 2650 when i ran my old best time on 8psi.

my first pass of the night looked like this:

I was happy. at that point I knew the car had potential for 12's. So i try again

and again.
and again.

and then i have what would have been my best pass of the night and probably my 12sec pass. it looked like this

arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I put it in 3rd and it just popped out damn tranny

yeh so i put that 330mark in bold to compare it w/ my 330mark on my best clean pass of the night. heres my best pass of the night.

DAMN! so if it didnt pop out of 3rd I would have had my 12.9. ahhh well, im still happy. im especially glad theres still room for improvement. just thought id let u guys know what ive been up too lately.

Chris! Awesome runs! Man that is so close to a 12. You basically trapped 110 like you wanted (109.99 close enough ). Bring your 60' down to a solid 2.0 and you should see a 12.99.

I'm probably going to the track soon. Let's see who's first to break into the 12s! hehehe..

boostaholic- Sorry I wont be in the houston area over thanksgiving. I may make a trip down there soon though cause last night was the last night our track was open till feb 2nd. and I want my 12 damnit haha.

LSdelsol- yeh, 2750 is overwieght for integras. I didnt know I was going so I went down w/ 3/4 tank of gas and I didnt have a car to put my tools an stuff in so I just ran w/ them. I can get the car down to 2620 on a diet.

 

Isn't that with driver though?

 

Sweet . Were you running 12psi on pump gas? If so....I'm getting hondata or aem next week.

yep that was the wieght w/ driver. im 150lbs.

Hey now, its true you ran much faster, but I ran my 13.7 w/ only 10 psi, 90 degrees outside, and running the shittest tires known to man .


You ran 12.3 psi w/ bfg drag radials, and i bet it was pretty cool out there.
