88 crx si suspension
ok, ive heard a lot about how the 88 crx si suspension is superior to anything ever made on any automobile...but i'd like to hear the complete story on this..by someone who actually knows that they are talking about...someone explain to me what the big difference is between the 88 and 89-91...i have an 88..ive never driven any other crx...its a little scary because it seems to oversteer way too easily...is this passive rear wheel steering?
ummm... well... no. it's not passive rear stearing that causes you to oversteer.
You can FIX your oversteer by changing your stabilizer bars or adjusting tire pressures.. it's that easy.
The difference on the 88crx SI and the 89-91 SI (si's only!) is that the rear Lower Control Arms on the 88 are like that of the Integra Type R. the 89-91 are a convential style where the shock mounts on the outside sides of the LCA.
The 88 shock mounts INSIDE the LCA instead of the outside.
Look at any civic's or 91 crx rear suspension and compare it to the rear suspension of an ITR. You will see the difference.
Compare the 88Si rear suspension to that of the ITR and you won't notice a difference.
Are you following?...good.

so what difference does that make?
i didnt mean that it actualy causes oversteer...it just feels like oversteer..i havnt lost control and spun yet..so i dont think its losing traction
