Hood fitment after accident.
Alright I just got my hood that I ordered and had it painted. I really dont see why people get cf hoods because stock hoods are really not that heavy. But OK I replaced my hood because I smacked a deer and wrinkled it. I get the new hood on there and its not going down all the way. On the left side she (hood) is hitting the headlight. On the other side everything looks peachy but on the left after you get past the first click it is flush with the fender and on the headlight. The headlight was a bitch to get in I had to move a little bit of metal to get it in there. I was wondering has anybody been in my situation and what should I do? I hypothesized that it maybe the hood arms (I dont know there names) are bent. That maybe one of them is bent and it is causing this problem. Also there is more spacing between fender and hood on the left than there is on the right. Any suggestions would be helpful thanks.
