Quick question about Type-S pistons.
Ok, now i know there are A type and B type Type-S pistons. I have in my hand a Type-S piston that has no A or B stamped on it. Is my piston an A (cause thats what i need)? Also does anyone have the part numbers for both the A and B type pistons?
A = no stamp. the Bs have a letter stamped on the top of the piston
i mihgt be able to get u the part #s when i get home tonight if i can find the boxes i did them several months back, the part# was somethin like p47-j00 if that helps any

There are two different bore sizes in the production block. Your block is stamped on the deck to let you know what bore size you have. No letters are "A" pistons. Bore size is 86.993mm-87.006mm. "B" pistons are marked. Bore size is 86.983mm-86.996mm. "B" pistons are 13020-P5P-J00 I believe.
