Default Heater problems

OK here is my problem my heat only works on 3 and 4. At first I thought that it was the switch but I put one in from a rex that worked and it still doesnt work on 3 or 4. So what else do you think it could be?? The blower motor? Blower motor resistor?? I have no clues any ideas would be great!!

I'm having the same prob... but only 1 isn't working.

2-4 are good.

It might be a resistance thing. I'm not sure though.

Anyone else got a clue?

where is the blower resistor and how do you get it out?? Is it the one right on the blower motor housing? So I wouldnt have to drop the whole housing??

If you are talking about the white stuff/cement on the coils that is not where the corrosion is-you will find that in the terminals. I have a complete '90 blower assembly ready to ship with a good motor and resistor. This resistor is generally the only thing that fails-happened on my FORD cars too-just one of them things . If you need the control unit w/AC switch I have that as well. BTW: there is a way to repair the cracked unit using plastic sheet stock and PVC cement.

Questions-drop me an e-mail.
