Heater problems
OK here is my problem my heat only works on 3 and 4. At first I thought that it was the switch but I put one in from a rex that worked and it still doesnt work on 3 or 4. So what else do you think it could be?? The blower motor? Blower motor resistor?? I have no clues any ideas would be great!!
where is the blower resistor and how do you get it out?? Is it the one right on the blower motor housing? So I wouldnt have to drop the whole housing??

If you are talking about the white stuff/cement on the coils that is not where the corrosion is-you will find that in the terminals. I have a complete '90 blower assembly ready to ship with a good motor and resistor. This resistor is generally the only thing that fails-happened on my FORD cars too-just one of them things
. If you need the control unit w/AC switch I have that as well. BTW: there is a way to repair the cracked unit using plastic sheet stock and PVC cement.
Questions-drop me an e-mail.
